The Beach House bed and breakfast Portland Dorset backs onto Chesil Beach which stretches
18 miles as far as West Bay. Chesil Beach offers amazing sunsets for photography
enthusiasts or for people who simply want to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.

The Beach House was built in the Victorian early 1800’s and offers 6 en-suite rooms all
with colour tv and tea/coffee facilites. We also have a licensed bar serving a range
of drinks from alcohol to soft drinks and bar snacks. There is a patio area with a private
garden and we provide ample parking for residents.

We are near to the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, and
are in an ideal position for Divers, Fisherman and other Watersports enthusiasts.

Out and About

There are plenty of places to visit in Weymouth and Portland. Whether
you want to walk around the coastline of Portland or watch the sunset
outside The Cove House Inn while enjoying a drink or a meal.

Portland is now evolving into a centre for leisure activities including Fishing,
Diving, Bird Watching, Rock Climbing, Walking and a variety of Watersports,
including Sailing at the newly opened National Sailing Academy venue for the
Sailing Events at the 2012 Olympic Games.
